1. Booking & Payment

Private rental requests are submitted through our online request form. Submitting a request does not hold or confirm a date — availability and site suitability are confirmed directly by Elsewhere Sauna.

Once your details are confirmed, we'll send an invoice for the full amount. Your date is held for 48 hours from when the invoice is issued.

Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received in full. An unpaid invoice expires automatically after 48 hours, and the date may be released to another customer.

If your event is within 14 days of your request, payment is due within 24 hours of the invoice being sent, and the cancellation terms below apply immediately once payment is made.

2. Pricing

Private sauna rentals are 2 hours minimum, 4 hours maximum.

2 hours (minimum): $550
3 hours: $725
4 hours (maximum): $900

Optional add-ons:

Cold Plunge: $200 flat, regardless of rental duration
Fireside Lounge (Adirondack chairs + propane fire pit): $75 flat

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

14+ days before your date: full refund
48 hours to 13 days before your date: 50% refund, or one free reschedule
Less than 48 hours before your date: no refund

To cancel or reschedule, contact us directly by phone or email as far in advance as possible.

4. Travel & Service Area

There is no additional travel fee for locations within Snoqualmie, North Bend, Issaquah, Sammamish, Bellevue, and greater Seattle. For locations beyond this area, a travel fee of $2 per mile applies. Any applicable travel fee will be confirmed with you before your invoice is issued.

5. Site Requirements

It's the renter's responsibility to confirm their location can accommodate the sauna before booking. Your space must have:

Approximately 600 sq ft of open, level area (pavement, gravel, or grass — not muddy or oversaturated)
Clear vehicle access for setup and breakdown
A water spigot within 100 ft — required on every booking as a fire-safety precaution around the wood-fired stove, and also used to fill the cold plunge if you add it

If you're renting a location you don't own (such as an Airbnb or other short-term rental), you're responsible for confirming with the property owner or manager that an on-site wood-fired sauna is permitted before booking.

6. Age Requirement

All participants must be 18 years of age or older. No exceptions at this time.

7. Liability & Waiver

Use of the sauna, cold plunge, and related equipment involves inherent risks, including but not limited to heat exposure, cold-water immersion, and outdoor/fire hazards. Every participant is required to read, understand, and sign a separate Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnification Agreement before participating. This is completed on-site prior to your session.

Participation is at each guest's own risk. Elsewhere Sauna is not responsible for injury, illness, or property loss except where liability cannot lawfully be waived under Washington State law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Elsewhere Sauna's services will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction located in King County, Washington.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time as our services evolve. The version posted on this page at the time of your booking applies to your reservation.
